Day two of list making = fail.

I did try to express some feelings to Maclean. It's been awhile since my last attempt. It was just as over dramatic and filled with coldness, anger and defensiveness as last time. He walked away. I cried.

So, I'm at least a bajillion times more productive when I make a list. Dunno how it works, but work it does. I'm going to try and make myself a list every day... Its about time I accomplished a few things with my day to day life.

I spent a good chunk of my day painting. And miraculously I'm actually starting to like a couple of my canvases. Now, what the heck am I going to do with all of them once they're finished?!

Had two coffee dates today, a chiropractor appointment, tacos and most of a bottle of wine. Things are good.

So Mike went to this party without me tonight. I didn't want to go so I tried to be gracious about letting him go. I gently asked if he could not come home too late or too drunk. He responds, "No, no I won't be late, we'll just stick around til midnight or so."

I had to wear a jacket AND socks today. Super not ok with that. It's rainy and cold, and the air has both a bite and scent that are distinctly autumn. Getting into my car after work last night I realized that very very soon I'll be having to scrape my windshield off, and that made me extremely unhappy. This girl I know just found out she has endometriosis and is having a hysterectomy in a couple weeks. She just turned 29. Other than the fact that early, forced menopause sounds like a nightmare, I'm a little jealous that she no longer has the option of kids. Thankfully she never really wanted kids so she wasn't too upset when she found out. I know ( Read more... )

On Monday I spent two hours cleaning the bathrooms. Maclean didn't even notice. When I pointed it out, his response was, "I didn't notice because they were pretty clean before." "Actually, they hadn't been cleaned in over a month and were rather disgusting." "Oh. ...... Good job, Babe."

Sigh.
